The Lenches Sports and Recreation Club is involved in a number of sports and recreational activities, please see below for further details. However, we by no means have a monopoly on sports in the area so we have provided links to other groups at the bottom of this page. As always contact us if you would like to post a listing here. |

LSRC Sports
We are a totally inclusive club and open to the public so please come down and use our facilities. Want to kick a football around? Play tennis? Start your own team? Please come and make use of our fabulous facilities.

Football - The Lenches Lions is our senior team, please visit their website www.lencheslions.co.uk Additionally we have a new under 16's team, who play on the senior pitch on alternate weeks to the Lions, The Lenches' Youth FC. For more information please see the Junior Section below.
Golf - the Cricket team organise a charity golf day every Summer, contact us and will get back to you when we organise the next one. See the bottom of the page for links to Evesham Golf club which a number of Lenches residents use.
Junior Section - There are broadly 3 parts to the recently formed Junior Section.
1. The Lenches Cubs, provide football for boys and girls on Sunday mornings. They organise competitive games but also training sessions at other times in the week. There is also a new under 16's team the Lenches' Youth FC. For details on all of these teams please visit their own website
2. Junior Tennis, The Tennis Club run sessions specifically for juniors, see tennis below
3. Holiday Camps, A number of local volunteers have recently started running sports camps during the school summer holidays. Please see our homepage for more details.
Rugby - ok we only come out of retirement once a year but it is always a great game, expect the next fixture in Spring 2010. Contact us if you are interested, photo below.

Art Classes - There are regular Art Classes held in the Pavilion, beginners are always welcome. Please contact Anne Cain for further details, 01386 870564.
Bar Games - The Lenches Club provides numerous bar games both socially and competitively. Bridge, Darts, Pool, Skittles etc. Please visit the Lenches Club website for more details.
Dinners/Socials - We organise a number of dinners and social events through out the year so get in touch if you are interested in finding out more. A great place to meet everyone involved with the club and others from the villages. Come on your own or why not host a table?
FRAME (The Festival of Rural Arts, Music and Entertainment) The newest addition to the Lenches calendar, managed by the community FRAME group using the LSRC facilities. Always the day after the summer ball.
