The Lenches Sports and Recreation club is a 4.6 acre site situated just below and to the West of the Lenches Social Club.

Most visitors to the Lenches Sports and Recreation Club comment on the superb standard of our facilities and our ability to provide everything on one site.  With fabulous views looking out towards the Malvern Hills and a very well maintained facility we are very proud of our site.

See the photos at the bottom of this page

We are always interested in finding new users so if you are interested in running a team, starting a group or hiring part of the facility (charitably or commercially), then please contact us.

While we have many members and different groups using our site we take pride in the inclusive nature of our club.  Our site is always open to individual users who want to play a game of tennis or to kick a football round.  If you are a new user then please come down to the club, or contact us

Our site includes…

A Pavilion with 2 changing rooms, referees changing room, kitchen and small function room.  All fully accessible for wheelchair users.

1 Cricket pitch

2 Football pitches (1 full size and 1 junior)

2 Tennis courts

1 MUGA hard court – multi purpose available for tennis, 5 a side football, netball etc.

An Orchard   Autumn 2007 - The Royal visit

We were delighted that in 2007 David and Carol Yates donated an orchard adjacent to our site to the LSRC for use by the community at large.  Primarily as pleasant space for people to enjoy as they choose. It is currently used by walkers, school children, artists and other members of the community who want to relax in the orchard.  It is regularly used by Church Lench First School as an area to educated children about nature and country life.

The Yates' orchard (bottom left photo or see our home page for pictures from the Royal opening) was donated to the Lenches Sports and Recreation Club to be managed for the benefit of local people.  This allows the orchard to benefit from the LSRC’s charitable status and we hope there is a reciprocal benefit, the hard work of our trustees adds value to the Orchard.

A new committee has been set up especially to manage the orchard.
