Minutes from the last AGM, 15th May 2008

There is not fixed structure on the composition of trustees however we have always tended to make sure there is a strong representation from our main users. i.e. the larger sections, tennis, football, cricket, junior sport etc.  At present the trustees include at least one representative from Cricket, Junior Football and Tennis.  The current club Secretary also sits on the Orchard committee. There is currently no official representative from the Men’s football (The Lenches Lions).  If you are interested then please contact us.

It should be noted that all the trustees are volunteers and we complete the majority of the work ourselves or with help from other unpaid volunteers.  This is enables us to keep our costs as low as possible and invest as much as we can back into our facilities.

History

The LSRC first met in 1994 and was incorporated as a charity on 31st July 1997 with the intention of creating a multipurpose facility that the community could use.  After the initial formation and a lot of fundraising the charity obtained Lottery funding and began work on the current site.
